The Pool Is Open

I was over at my son’s house over the weekend, they opened the pool and we had a great time. Even though there were not any small children around, I thought back to when they were small, and we would always have to be on guard constantly whether we were at home, at a public pool or on vacation around the Ocean.

So remember to stay safe, active, and healthy when it’s hot outside.

Drowning is a leading cause of death in infants, children and adolescents. Learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) so you can act quickly to prevent drowning.

Stay Active without over doing it. There are many ways to stay active and beat the heat.

Here are a few:
Go to a gym for a nice, cool environment with a variety of activities.

Use the equipment, work out with free weights, or whatever turns you on, but remember to pace yourself. Listen to your body, and it will tell you when enough is enough.Visit your favorite local swimming hole or take swimming lessons at a pool.

Start a walking group with your friends at the mall. It’s another way to stay connected, focused and motivated.

Take up an indoor sport, such as racquetball, basketball or volleyball, or taking an aerobics class.

Go ice skating. Yes they are open in the Summer also.

If you are outside when it’s hot and humid, wear light, comfortable clothing and work out in the early morning or late evening. Know the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If you experience symptoms, stop exercising and cool down immediately by dousing yourself with cold water. You may need medical attention.

Heat exhaustion can progress quickly to heat stroke, which can kill you. Learn about hot weather and cardiovascular disease and the symptoms of heat exhaustion and stroke.

Fire up the grill Keep these tips in mind to help you grill “fat-sensibly” this summer.Try grilling fish. The healthiest types include salmon, trout and herring, which are high in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Buy chicken breasts instead of the fattier dark meat (legs and thighs). Remember to remove the skin before eating or try grilling chicken or turkey burgers using breast meat and add diced onions for more flavor.

Choose “loin” and “round” cuts of red meat and pork. Look for “choice” or “select” grades of beef instead of “prime.” While these have the least amount of fat, don’t forget to trim the fat when you get home. Use a rack so the fat drips away from the food.

If you wonder about a need to supplement your diet, Here are a few things to think about.

There is no one single pill that will supply all your daily requirements, but multiple vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other supplements are readily available in tonic, pill, and many other forms.

But what do you really need to be healthier? And how much do you need? And how can you make sure that you are getting it?

For starters, WebMD compiled an expert-approved list of the top five healthiest nutrients and how to get them. Go there and browse the site for yourself. Here is the short version.Calcium Hands down, calcium, which comes from foods including low-fat dairy products and supplements, is essential for a healthy body. How do you know? Consider that an 8 oz glass of milk or calcium-fortified juice or a cup of yogurt contains about 300 mg.

So, take a look at what you are normally eating, and if you are not in the range, consider a supplement.

Magnesium The Daily Value (DV) for magnesium is around 400 mg. However, most magnesium researchers say we need two to three times this amount, especially for people who have magnesium-deficient conditions including heart disease, muscle cramps, headaches, and muscle pain.

Magnesium deficiencies are seen in a host of conditions including asthma, diabetes, kidney disease, and even migraines. Magnesium also helps with calcium absorption, so you need it to help build healthy bones. Magnesium is harder to get through foods, so supplements are usually necessary.

Magnesium-rich foods do include almonds, peanuts, brown rice, and cereals like oat bran and shredded wheat.

Vitamin B which includes B-6, B-12, and folate (folic acid) are key to overall health.According to the American Heart Association, homocysteine is an amino acid that has been linked to an increased risk for heart attack, stroke, and other major diseases. It may damage the inner lining of arteries and promote blood clots, but researchers are still not sure exactly how it affects disease risk.

However homocysteine levels are strongly influenced by diet, and several studies have found that higher blood levels of B vitamins are related, at least partly, to lower concentrations of homocysteine. The Daily Values for the B vitamins are: folate, 400 micrograms or more; B-6, 1.5-2 mg; and B-12, 2.4-3 mcg.

Today, cereals, breads, and other grain products are fortified with extra folate. Also fruits and vegetables like spinach, oranges, broccoli, and asparagus have high levels of folate. Check your multivitamin to see how it stacks up with B-6 for body function, and B-12 for energy.

Vitamin D, or the sunshine vitamin because your body makes it in response to sunlight, is often overlooked today. More people are staying out of the sun and as a result are becoming deficient in vitamin D and setting themselves up for fractures.Vitamin D helps your bones properly use calcium. Normally 15 minutes of sunlight per day with sunscreen is a good idea.

Dairy products including milk yogurt and cheese all are fortified with vitamin D. Aim for 600 IU for vitamin D.

Multi vitamins One way to make sure that you get at least the minimum amount of all your vitamins and minerals is to take a Multi Vitamin every day. There is quite a bit of evidence that multivitamins are important for general health, immunity, and well-being. Vitamins were traditionally useful in preventing deficiency disease which we don’t really see so more in this country.

Today vitamins are used to support normal organ and body functions, enhance immunity, improve cardiovascular function, and even prevent cancer.

Enjoy It!

So What Have You Got to Lose?

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has been at the forefront of the battle to keep ephedrine alkaloids legal, and also the leader in technology surrounding this amazing herb. People who have used our Lipodrene and Stimerex-ES products universally proclaim that they are far superior to any other fat loss and energy boost products on the market. The truth of the matter is that they are correct.

Lipodrene is an ephedra-based weight loss pill. If you have a lot to lose, or a lot to prove, and are looking for a supplement that helps you lose a lot of weight in a fast, safe and effective manner, you may have just found it.However, losing weight is not as easy as changing your skin color or your hair color. I am assuming that the majority of people want a quick, easy and effective solution to the issue or dilemma that they are currently faced with. This is why supplements, diet pills, and the entire weight loss industry are so popular right now. Weight loss pills are the cheap, easy to use, and effective alternative to surgery. A good example of this is the Lipodrene weight loss pill .
Each tablet of the Lipodrene weight loss pill is made with a proprietary blend of ingredients. Overall this combination of ingredients results in a power-packed weight loss pill that promotes fast and effective weight loss. Good Meals … Good Deals

I got an email from Kelly Sonora last week about nutritious foods and still sticking to a budget. She did a great job and I thought it was worth passing on. Here are the foods that she recommended. Eating nutritious meals does not mean breaking the budget.

Many people including bodybuilders do choose to supplement their nutrition, so when a supplement is required, visit this high quality online site. See what you think.

Eating healthy is a great idea in theory, but when sticking to your budget is as important as it is during this economic crisis, it’s often quicker and easier to pick up the cheapest foods at the store. These 50 foods, however, prove that nutrition doesn’t have to be as expensive as you think.

Fruits

Eating fresh fruits that are in season can actually save you money. These fruits, including apricots and raspberries, will give you the most nutrition bang for your buck.

Strawberries: When bought in season, strawberries can be bought in bulk or individually for a modest price. And just one half cup of raw strawberries contains 149% of your daily value for Vitamin C.
Apricots: Apricots are a good source of the antioxidant beta-carotene, which is converted to Vitamin A once ingested. Buy fresh apricots and dry them yourself for better savings.
Blackberries: Raw blackberries are low in calories but have a significant amount of dietary fibers, plus 50% of your daily value of Vitamin C per cup.
Raspberries: Raw raspberries are another easy, healthy snack that isn’t too costly. They contain Vitamin K, magnesium, dietary fiber, and Vitamin C.
Cherries: Make sure you buy cherries in season, or they can get expensive. They’re known as a "super fruit" because of their very high beta carotene content, as well as their fiber, folate, iron, magnesium, Vitamin C and potassium content.
Cantaloupe: Cantaloupes not only go a long way in terms of recipes and snacking, they’re also low in calories, have no fat, and contain 120% of your daily value of Vitamin A and 108% Vitamin C in just one cup.
Pears: One pear contains 24% of your daily value of fiber and have a low glycemic index, which means that the carbohydrates are slow to convert to sugar. Pears also contain Vitamin C and Potassium.
Raisins: Raisins do contain plenty of sugars, but no fat or cholesterol. They are also a good source of potassium, iron and dietary fiber.
Watermelon: Buy a huge watermelon in season for a cost-effective summer snack that’s packed with vitamins. Watermelons contain Vitamin A, B6, and lots of Vitamin C.
Peaches: Buy fresh, not canned, peaches for the best nutritional value. Peaches contain beta-carotene, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin A.
Figs: Buy fresh figs and dry them yourself to save on cost. Figs are fat, cholesterol, and sodium-free; have 20% of your daily value of fiber; and "have the highest overall mineral content of common fruits," according to California Figs.
Blueberries: Blueberries are strong carriers of Vitamin C, manganese and dietary fiber, and also contain Vitamin E.
Cranberries: Cranberries are actually low in sugar and calories and contain lots of Vitamin C, dietary fiber, manganese and Vitamin K.
Oranges: Get plenty of Vitamin C, as well as dietary fiber, folate, Vitamin B1, potassium, Vitamin A and calcium from just one orange.
Bananas: Bananas may have carbs and sugar, but they’ve also got lots of Vitamin C and potassium, plus Vitamin B6, dietary fiber and manganese, making them a nutrient-rich snack.

Vegetables

Like fruits, fresh veggies are often inexpensive and can be used for lots of different meals and snacks during the week. Eat these vegetables to get your iron, calcium, fiber and other nutrients.
Asparagus: Asparagus has more folic acid than any other vegetable. Folic acid helps prevent liver disease and helps your blood cells grow.
Tomatoes: Tomatoes contain beta and alpha-carotene, lutein, fiber, potassium, Vitamin C, folate and more vitamins. Plus, depending on the variety you choose, they’re quite inexpensive.
Crimini mushrooms: Crimini mushrooms have almost no calories but are packed with potassium, selenium, Vitamins B2, B1, B6 and B3, zinc, magnesium, iron, calcium, folate, protein and more.
Squash and Zucchini: Summer squash and zucchini are only about $1 - $2 a piece and contain a moderate amount of Vitamin C and Vitamin A, plus iron and protein.
Black beans: Black beans are one of the healthiest varieties of beans, containing 24% of your daily value of dietary fiber, 14% of your daily value of protein, and no saturated fat per 1/2 cup.
Lentils: Raw lentils have a lot of calories, but no saturated fat and 50g of protein. They’re also an excellent source of iron and dietary fiber.
Carrots: Raw carrots bought individually are incredibly cheap and are a good source of dietary fiber. One cup of copped carrots also contains 428% of your daily value of Vitamin A.
Broccoli: One cup of raw broccoli flowerets only contains 20 calories but has 110% of your daily value of Vitamin C, 43% of Vitamin A, and no fat or cholesterol.
Kidney beans: Kidney beans are rich in B-complex vitamins, niacin, folate, magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, soluble fiber and calcium.
Pearl Barley: Add pearl barley to a soup or salad for a major dietary fiber boost, plenty of iron, and a good dose of protein.
Leafy spinach: Leafy spinach is moderately priced by the bunch, and can be divided up for multiple salads, sandwiches and garnishes. It contains fiber, B-complex vitamins, folate, magnesium, lutein and potassium.
Potatoes: Potatoes contain carbohydrates, calories and sugars, but they’re also a very versatile, cost-effective food that contains lots of nutrients like Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, potassium, manganese and dietary fiber.
Green bell pepper: Green bell peppers are cheaper than red bell peppers, but each one still contains 220% of your daily value of Vitamin C.
Cabbage: Cabbage contains 91% of your daily value of Vitamin K; over 50% for Vitamin C; and a healthy amount of dietary fiber, Vitamin b6, omega-3 fatty acids, folate, manganese and more.
Jalapeno pepper: A jalapeno pepper is very cheap, and because it’s so hot and spicy, only a very small portion is needed at a time, making it cost-effective. Jalapeno peppers also contain Vitamin C and Vitamin A, plus a healthy amount of dietary fiber and iron.

Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds can be bought in bulk or buy the pound. Best of all, they’re packed with nutrients and vitamins, and you only need a small amount to get the benefits, making them last between trips to the grocery store.

Almonds: Try unsalted almonds for plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, polyunsaturated fats, Vitamin E and fiber. You only need a handful for an energy boost that will fill you up, too.
Flaxseed: Flaxseed is usually sold in pretty large bags, and you only need to add a tiny bit to cereal or any homemade breads and grains for the benefits. Flaxseed contains omega-3 fatty acids and lots of fiber.
Walnuts: Walnuts are another healthy nut that contains magnesium, folate, polyunsaturated fats, omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E. Add a few to a fruit salad, or eat them alone.
Sunflower seeds: Sunflower seeds contain lots of Vitamin E, more than almonds, peanut butter or even spinach.
Sesame seed kernels: A handful of sesame seed kernels contains a healthy amount of iron, calcium and protein, plus dietary fiber.
Brazil nuts: Brazil nuts are considered an excellent source of selenium and also contain protein, fiber and magnesium.

Grains

Picking the whole-grain version doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go over budget. These healthy foods are also cost effective.

Whole grain or multigrain bread: You don’t have to buy the fancy bread: just pick out a moderately priced (maybe the generic brand) whole grain or multigrain version to get heart-healthy bread that has plenty of dietary fiber.

Brown rice: Rice goes a long way, and it’s inexpensive. Plus, it’s full of fiber, B-complex vitamins, niacin and magnesium.
Whole-wheat spaghetti: Even the whole-wheat variety of spaghetti makes a cheap meal, and it’s packed with fiber.
Couscous: Like rice and pasta, couscous goes a long way when you cook it. It also contains protein and fiber, when you choose the whole-wheat or whole-grain variety.
Whole grain tortillas: One whole-grain tortilla has 8g of protein and 7g of dietary fiber. Tortillas are usually sold in large packs, too.
Oatmeal: Depending on the kind of oatmeal you buy, you can usually find a pretty good deal. It’s also a good source of fiber.

Beverages

You can drink your way to good health, too, and these beverage options are also budget-friendly.

Green tea: Green tea contains the highest concentration of the antioxidants called polyphenols, and may help prevent some types of cancer and heart disease. Buy your own green tea packets from the grocery store to save on cost.
Milk: Low-fat or non-fat milk that is fortified with Vitamin D, plus calcium, Vitamin A and protein. Buy store brand or generic brand milk for a better deal.
Orange juice: Generic brand orange juice isn’t terribly expensive, and it contains Vitamin D and plenty of Vitamin C.

Miscellaneous

From sardines to yogurt, these healthy foods are also packed with nutrients.
Plain yogurt: Buy large containers of plain, non-fat yogurt instead of the individual snack-sized yogurts to save money and get the most nutritional version. One cup of plain yogurt contains 14g of protein and 49% of your daily value of calcium. Plus, it also contains probiotics which help your body absorb nutrients.
Egg whites: Egg whites do contain a fair amount of sodium, but they also contain 26g of protein per cup and zero fat.
Tuna: Tuna is a cold-water fish that contains much-needed omega-3 fatty acids and lots of protein. It’s also usually cheaper than salmon or mackerel.
Tomato soup: Make your own variety for an even more cost-effective soup. Tomato soup is a good source of Vitamin C, iron, Vitamin A and dietary fiber.
Sardines: Sardines are an excellent source of iron, calcium and protein, as well as niacin, Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. Just don’t indulge too often: sardines are also very high in cholesterol.

Choice Weight Loss Tips 4U

Are you looking for a quick way to lose weight?

If the answer is yes, here are some quick weight loss tips that I think might work, and without a lot of sacrifice.
Go out to a Fast Food Place and what do you see. People ordering the same double burgers, extra large fries and soda’s. Then for dessert they continue to help themselves to a whole bag of candy and finish it off with another large soda refill.

I see this scenario play out every day, and the results are a lot of people who are carrying around 20 or more pounds of excess fat all over their body. I am no exception, but there is hope for us. I have learned that small modifications on what we eat and drink can have a big impact and may achieve some quick weight loss.

During the day, we all get thirsty. In the past, I would go to the soda machine and have a cold one. Even after exercise or a ball game, I wanted something sweet. Just being out in the sun was another good excuse. Don’t you like a sweet drink after a jog in the sun?

Well, there are at least two reasons why we subconsciously reach for a soda. One is extra energy. Unfortunately carbonated drinks are wasted calories. You don't get anything back from the soda. You might get some pep from the caffeine and sugar, but that is about it. The second reason for craving a sweet drink is because we are slightly hungry. We aren't hungry enough to go get something to eat, but a drink will satisfy us enough to our next meal.

Here is an alternative. Instead of drinking sodas all day long, drink juice. More specifically, juice with the pulp in it. The reason for having juice with the pulp in it is because it will fill you up. Unlike sodas, there is something actually there to curb your hunger. You will drink less because you will get full. Try it, you will be surprised.

Stick with wheat bread. I know that cutting out all bread is best, but it’s not a sandwich without the bread! So if there is a choice to be made, stay away from the white stuff. Whole wheat products are better at stabilizing blood sugar levels. This mean you won't get hungry as fast. It's an easy way to curb your hunger.
Speaking of sandwiches, Here are some tips you can use when making sandwiches.

Avoid cheese. We put way to much cheese on everything these days. I won't be surprised if some day they make a cheese covered soda can. This is a heart attack waiting to happen. There is no reason to eat this much cheese. One of the ways you can cut down on the amount of cheese you eat is by shredding the cheese. Use the shredded cheese instead of cheese slices. You can cover the same amount of area, with less cheese. You can also do this on salads as well.
Cut down on the mayo. Here is another dressing that I wish I could cut out completely. When I was younger, I used to put so much mayo on my sandwich that it would ooze out the side. Now I can't see how I ever ate them. All I could taste was the mayo. Here's a thought. Sprinkle a little of Italian dressing on the sandwich. Just enough so you can taste it. This will really cut down on the fat. Also, if you make your own, you can control how much oil is in the dressing.
Cut down on bread and rolls. I know this borders on heresy, but if you are going out to eat and the waiter drops a bread basket on the table, push it away. The more carbohydrates you can get away from the better.
Cut out the mindless snacking. Don't fill up on potato chips between meals. Instead grab an apple or some veggie sticks. You will be amazed at how good they are once you give them a chance. I love carrot sticks sprinkled with a little salt. I will take these any day over potato chips. Stay away from fatty cuts of meat.

Don't go to the store and buy the most fatty cuts of pork you can get. Take it home and trim the fat off of it if you have to. There are tons of ways you can cook lean meat so that it isn't dry. That is why most people like the fat in the meat, it adds juice. Also with spices, you can fix the problem of not having the flavor that fat adds.

Lighten Up on dairy products. There is no need to fill up on ice cream that is full of fat. Instead if you must consume it, go for the low fat versions. Try to get flavors with a lot of fruit in them or add your own fruit. Even the sugar free tastes good these days, except the aspertaine gives you gas. You won't notice the missing fat if you add some flavor to it. Avoid frying stuff. Learn how to bake, broil and steam your foods. You will be surprised at how much fat frying adds to the dish. Sure it tastes better, but it won't help your waist any.

If you are really struggling to take control of your weight and remove extra fat naturally, then check these out: Fat Burners to help you Tighten Up.
There you have it. Those quick weight loss tips don't sound too hard to follow, do they? I'm sure after you repeat them, they will get easy to do.

Half of Overweight Adults may be Heart-Healthy

Last week there was an AP story about weight and heart attacks. In a nutshell you can look great in a swimsuit and still be a heart attack waiting to happen. And you can also be overweight and otherwise healthy.

A new study suggests that about half of overweight people have normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while an equally startling number of trim people suffer from some of the ills associated with obesity. The first national estimate of its kind bolsters the argument that you can be hefty but still healthy, or at least healthier than has been believed.

Stereotypes about body size can be misleading, and even "less voluptuous" people can have risk factors commonly associated with obesity, said study author MaryFran Sowers, a University of Michigan obesity researcher.

In the study, roughly 36 million people nationwide, had mostly normal levels of blood pressure, cholesterol, blood fats called triglycerides and blood sugar. Almost one-third of obese adults, or nearly 20 million people, also were in this healthy range, meaning that none or only one of those measures was abnormal. But around 25% of adults in the recommended-weight range had unhealthy levels of at least two of these measures. That means some 16 million of them are at risk for heart problems.

It's no secret that thin people can develop heart-related problems and that fat people often do not. But that millions defy the stereotypes will come as a surprise to many people, Sowers said.

There is now debate about how accurate the standard method is of calculating whether someone is overweight. Health officials rely on the body mass index (BMI), a weight-height ratio that does not distinguish between fat and lean tissue. The limits of that method were highlighted a few years ago when it was reported that the system would put nearly half of NBA players in the overweight category.

A number of experts say waist size is a more accurate way of determining someone's health risks, and the study results support that argument. This new research may help dismiss some of the generalizations that are sometimes made about weight and health.

Study co-author Judith Wylie-Rosett emphasized that the study shouldn't send the message "that we don't need to worry about weight." That's because half of overweight people do face elevated risks for heart disease, explained Wylie-Rosett, a nutrition researcher at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

But, for those without elevated risks, losing weight "might be important only from a cosmetic perspective," she said.
To arrive at the estimates, scientists analyzed nationally representative government surveys involving 5,440 people age 20 and over, and extrapolated to calculate nationwide figures.

The new study, appearing in Monday's Archives of Internal Medicine, used government surveys from 1999 to 2004 that included lab tests and height and weight measurements. Participants reported on habits including smoking and physical activity.

In all weight categories, risk factors for heart problems were generally more common in older people, smokers and inactive people. Among obese people who were 50 to 64, just 20 percent were considered healthy compared with half of younger obese people. The results highlight how important exercise is for staying healthy, even for people of healthy weight, Wylie-Rosett said.

The authors noted that fat tissue releases hormones and other substances that affect things like blood vessels, cholesterol and blood sugar. The results suggest this interaction varies among overweight and obese people, the authors said.

The results also add to mounting evidence that thick waists are linked with heart risks. Among people of healthy weight in the study, elevated blood pressure, cholesterol and other factors were more common for people with larger waists or potbellies. This often signals internal fat deposits surrounding abdominal organs, which previous research has shown can be especially risky.

Also, among overweight and obese adults, those in the "healthy" category tended to have smaller waists than those with at least two risk factors.

Dr. Lewis Landsberg, a Northwestern University obesity expert, noted that the research didn't look at heart disease, and that not everyone with high risk factors develops heart problems. Still, he said, the study shows that waist measurements can help assess health.

Got Something to Lose? Try it with Lipodrene from Hi-Tech Labs

Lipodrene is an ephedra-based weight loss pill. If you have a lot to lose, or a lot to prove, and are looking for a supplement that helps you lose a lot of weight in a fast, safe and effective manner, you may have just found it.

However, losing weight is not as easy as changing your skin color or your hair color. It takes hard work, effort, and time. If you opt for a surgical procedure, like liposuction or a gastric bypass, be prepared to lighten your pocket book considerably.

This is why supplements, diet pills, and the entire weight loss industry are so popular right now. Weight loss pills are the cheap, easy to use, and effective alternative to surgery. A good example of this is the Lipodrene weight loss pill.

Lipodrene is an ephedra-based weight loss pill manufactured by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. Each tablet of the Lipodrene weight loss pill is made with a proprietary blend of ingredients. Here are the highlights of what is in Lipodrene:

Green Tea extract (which is included in almost every weight loss supplement on the market because of its overall positive effects on the various systems in the human body.)

Phenylethylamine (A ingredient found in chocolate that is similar to amphetamine in producing a sense of well being and general happiness. And I like chocolate)

Naringen ( A powerful supplement derived from grapefruit, Naringen increases and extends the effects of Caffeine as well as being known for lowering cholesterol levels.)

Yohimbe ( A natural aphrodisiac that is also claimed by Lipodrene as an aid in losing weight, this component is known to do strange things to blood pressure so it should be approached with caution.)

Commiphora Mukul ( This derivative of an Indian tree resin, also called Guggul, has been used by ayurvedic medicine for many centuries. It is included in for it's powerful effect of reducing LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising the good HDL cholesterol levels in the blood stream.)

Overall this combination of ingredients results in a power-packed weight loss pill that promotes fast and effective weight loss. While everyone does not react in the same way, this supplement is considered as effective as anything around today.

Just remember, if you are under a doctors’ care and taking prescription drugs, to check with them before taking this or for that matter anything else. You don’t want one pill counteracting something else.

VasoPro HCL Energy Plus Weight Loss

VasoPro is used to gain energy, improve athletic performance, as a weight loss product, and even by asthma sufferers. It helps to alleviate shortness of breath, chest tightness and wheezing.

After checking online reviews of VasoPro ephedrine HCL 25 mg tablets, I found that it was well received by users across the country. Bodybuilders say it increases energy, and they are able to finish their workout and still be able to breathe.

Dieters are thrilled about losing fat, especially if combined or “stacked” with a caffeine supplement. They are able to eat less and not be hungry.
It is also a lower cost alternative to prescription grade Clenbuterol. Some commented that it enhance the user’s ability to focus and concentrate in some instances.

Others rave about it as an excellent appetite suppression agent. Many reviewers claim to have lost a lot of excess weight while on the. These results were especially valid when the product was “stacked” with a caffeine supplement. The negative complaint was the limit on how much an individual can purchase in any given month – 6 grams.

So if you are searching for just the right supplement for you, look into VasoPro ephedrine HCL 25 mg tablets. It may be just what you are looking for.

Zylene and Advantra-Z, an excellent team for weight loss

Do you feel that the job market is down, so you work longer, or have a second job. Gas prices are soaring, and gulp down our fast food, and can’t find time to exercise like we should. How about all that time in front of the tube or surfing the net?

This lifestyle is typical, and when all these factors combine, it’s not surprising that we’re seeing a dramatic rise in obesity and obesity related diseases (cardiovascular problems, hypertension, type 2 adult onset diabetes, etc. These are real problems in America today.

But you are thinking about your lifestyle and your need to live more healthily – and probably lose weight. Starting a program of healthy living and increased exercise are now a priority in your life and you should be pleased with yourself.

If you want to give that new program of losing those unwanted pounds, you might want to try a weight loss pill like Zylene. Diet pills (or weight loss pills) can be an additional aid for someone wanting to lose weight, and they may help your efforts also.

When you see the weight you have lost with the help of a diet pill plus improved diet and exercise, this builds motivation to keep on with your weight loss plans and reach the target weight that’s right for your height and bone size.

Zylene works in many ways to help you achieve your target body weight. Zylene acts as an appetite suppressant. This is a real aid during the initial stages of any diet plan, whether you’re trying a particular diet plan (e.g. Atkins, South Beach, etc.) or just trying choose things that are lower in fat and sugar.

Sugar is one of the top three addictions to break (the other two are cocaine and caffeine), so being able to curb your cravings can help you change your habits.

And because Zylene is an appetite suppressant, it can help you if you’re trying to eat less, since it reduces the desire to eat. Zylene also contains many natural ingredients that work together to make Zylene more than just an appetite suppressant.

Some of these herbal ingredients lower bad cholesterol, which means that you not only lose weight, you have the chance to reverse some of the health problems caused by poor diet and lack of exercise.

Other ingredients in Zylene increase the body’s sensitivity to insulin, and thus reduces your chance of developing Type 2 diabetes.

In Type 2 diabetes, which usually happens as you approach 40, your cells become desensitised to the amounts of insulin that are produced to deal with a high-sugar, high-carb diet and so do not respond to the body’s natural insulin. Increasing insulin sensitivity with Zylene is one way to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

The herb Hoodia is certainly popular within the diet industry these days, and dieters may be attracted to Zylene due to its inclusion. Hoodia, has been shown to generate real weight loss, due to appetite suppression.

It is also believed by many that results will be much more significant when this herb is paired with a powerful fat burner.

I strongly suggest if you are interested in more natural approaches, to look into products with Hoodia and Advantra-Z®, (which is a patented, potent metabolism booster.)

Are We Having Fun Yet?

OK, as of June 21st the days are longer and the rising temperatures signal summertime. So here are some reminders about staying safe, active, safe and heart healthy when it’s hot outside.

Pools Open I was over at my son’s house over the weekend, and we had a great time. Even though there were not any small children around, I thought back to when they were small, and we would always have to be on guard constantly whether we were at home, at a public pool or on vacation around the Ocean.

Drowning is a leading cause of death in infants, children and adolescents. Learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) so you can act quickly to prevent drowning.

Stay Active without over doing it There are a lot of ways to stay active and beat the heat.

Here are a few: Go to a gym for a nice, cool environment with a variety of activities. Use the equipment, work out with free weights, or whatever turns you on, but remember to pace yourself. Listen to your body, and it will tell you when enough is enough.
Visit your favorite local swimming hole or take swimming lessons at a pool.

Fire up the grill Keep these tips in mind to help you grill “fat-sensibly” this summer.

Try grilling fish.

Supplements If you wonder about a need to supplement your diet, Here are a few things to think about.

There is no one single pill that will supply all your daily requirements, but multiple vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other supplements are readily available in tonic, pill, and many other forms. But what do you really need to be healthier? And how much do you need? And how can you make sure that you are getting it?

For starters, WebMD compiled an expert-approved list of the top five healthiest nutrients and how to get them.Go there and browse the site for yourself. Here is the short version.

Calcium Hands down, calcium, which comes from foods including low-fat dairy products and supplements, is essential for a healthy body.

Magnesium-rich foods do include almonds, peanuts, brown rice, and cereals like oat bran and shredded wheat.Vitamin B which includes B-6, B-12, and folate (folic acid) are key to overall health.

According to the American Heart Association, homocysteine is an amino acid that has been linked to an increased risk for heart attack, stroke, and other major diseases.

More people are staying out of the sun and as a result are becoming deficient in vitamin D and setting themselves up for fractures.

Vitamin D helps your bones properly use calcium. Normally 15 minutes of sunlight per day with sunscreen is a good idea.Dairy products including milk yogurt and cheese all are fortified with vitamin D.

Enjoy your Summer!

More than I ever knew about Green Tea Weight Loss

Green Tea Extract

Green Tea extract is one of the most popular ingredients in high quality diet pills.Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) is extracted from an ever green shrub, found with thick dark green leaves.

The green tea shrub itself is usually harvested at heights of eight feet. Green tea is now found in Asia, Africa, and aspects of the Middle East. Besides popular information, Green teas, Black teas, and Oolong teas come from the same shrub. The difference between each is independent upon the extracting methods used. For example, Green tea is picked; the leaves are then rolled and dried. Black tea is processed the same way, except the tea leaves are fermented before they are dried, which causes them to change black and to deliver a different flavor.

Green tea has been offered for 1000s of years as a drink and therapeutic agent. In countries such as Japan and China, the consuming of teas has remained a commonality among the people of these countries. Most traditional uses of Green tea is focused on ritual, but has been used as a universal body tonic; used to revive one's mind and to provide energy for life.

Today, Green tea is popular because of its outstanding antioxidant activity and the potential to treat and fight many diseases, especially cancer. The primary constituents of Green tea that lend to its high antioxidant activity are the polyphenols. The most well known polyphenols are: catechins and gallocatechins. Polyphenols are one subgroup of a major classification of molecules known as flavonoids. Flavonoids are well known for their antioxidant power.

Green tea also delivers several other properties, such as tannins, that allow it to be a useful remedy for diarrhea. It also contains caffeine, vitamins, and minerals. Although not as high as amounts the amount found in coffee, the caffeine in Green tea has been shown to stimulate the central nervous system.

Why use Green Tea Extract

Green tea is most utilized for its cancer fighting and potential treatment action. Green tea is anti-mutagenic and anti-carcinogenic.

It has also shown anti-neoplastic properties for most tumor cell lines in a Petri dish and animal research.

Human research has demonstrated that Green Tea can lower the risk of cancer in smokers by decreasing the oxidative damage to cells. Green tea has significant antioxidant activity, engulfing free radicals that can lead to several types of cancers.

Green tea may support an adjunctive treatment for prostate cancer. It can reduce the PSA - a tumor marker used to monitor the progression and growth of prostate cancer. Green tea may also prevent colorectal cancer by decreasing the amount of inflammatory mediators present in the cells.

Green tea is an effective treatment, both topically and orally for cervical lesions. It may be cancer preventative due to its ability to regress cervical dysplasia of the mild and moderate type.

Green tea may also be effective against lesions caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, a virus that is known to contribute to the development of cancer of the cervix and vulva.

Green tea is considered a cardioprotective botanical. In study, it has been shown to decrease levels of LDL, or bad cholesterol levels, in the blood.

Green tea can also protect against the oxidation of LDL because of its powerful antioxidant activity. This can assists in preventing the development of atherosclerosis, a deadly disease characterized by the hardening and narrowing of arteries.Green tea may also prevent dental cavities. It is anti-inflammatory on the tissues of the mouth.

The constituents found within Green tea also lend antibacterial activity, and may be effective at combating several of the most common bacteria known to cause dental cavities and infections of the gums; including E.coli, staph, and strep.

Green tea has also recently been recognized for its ability to increase the metabolism of fat and decrease weight.

Green tea is thermogenic in nature; increasing the oxidation of fat molecules in the body . It may prove helpful in persons suffering from obesity and are trying to lose weight.

Green tea has also been shown to protect the skin from damage caused by UV exposure. This may be particularly relevant for individuals who are sensitive to UV light, as well as in those at an elevated risk for developing skin cancer.

Green Tea Dosages

Different dosages of Green tea are used, and are considered dependant upon individual need. For daily antioxidant intake, 1 - 2 teaspoons of tea (3g of soluble components), steeped in 1 cup of water may be sufficient. This beverage can be drunk 1 - 4 times a day.

Higher dosages can be taken in capsule form to increase ones protection potential cancer development. The recommended dosage for this delivery forms ranges from 300 - 400 milligrams of polyphenols per day.

Most of the Green tea supplements available in capsule form will be standardized to 80% total polyphenols or 55% epigallocatechin.Worth mentioning, dosages as high as 800 mg of epigallocatechin or polyphenols have been taken per day for cancer prevention.

These doses are safe, but do produce some side effects.Green Tea Toxicities and ContraindicationsSide effects from the administration of increased dosages of Green tea or Green tea extracts include; excess gas, upset stomach, nausea, heartburn, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, and muscle pain.

The excessive ingestion of Green tea can also result in CNS symptoms of anxiety, restlessness, jitters, and insomnia; primarily caused by caffeine content.Green tea is thought to be safe in all populations, though its use in women who are pregnant or nursing should be limited because of the effects of caffeine on the developing baby.

Weight Loss Tips for Brides

Your big day is fast approaching and you're terrified that you won't fit into that dream wedding gown you've bought. Follow this simple, yet proven approach for 3-4 weeks before your wedding day and drop at least one dress size.

The stress and anxiety that most brides experience as their wedding day approaches can be overwhelming for them. The amount of preparation involved and the countless number of details needing attention can make it very difficult to eat sensibly and maintain even a modest level of good nutrition.

I have heard a number of conversations about brides who were so stressed out in the month or so before their wedding that they abandon all good eating habits and either starve themselves or binge on junk food to handle the stress.

Many are genuinely terrified that they'll be overweight and unattractive on their wedding day, or even worse, won't be able to fit into their dream wedding gown.

Personal trainers will continually remind you how just a few simple changes to your daily routine can make a huge difference. The four basic principles I outline below really do work. I've had personal success using these strategies and continue to follow them on a daily basis to self manage diabetes.

Start this program 3-4 weeks before your wedding day and see for yourself.

Water, Water and More Water
Hydration is critical. While the benefits are countless this is one of the hardest things to implement into your daily routine. Whenever I would neglect this item my trainer would recite how water lowers body fat, flushes cellulite, improves digestion, gets rid of dark circles under the eyes, and makes you feel full. These are just a few of the benefits of drinking the required 10 cups of water per day.

This may seem like a lot but I found the easiest way to get into the habit is to break the amounts down into manageable amounts:
· Keep a bottle of water beside your bed. Before you go to sleep drink ½ the bottle and as soon as you wake up (before your feet touch the floor) drink the remaining ½ bottle.
· Before each meal drink a half a bottle of water.
· Carry water with you and sip it throughout the day. I can't overemphasize how important this step is.

Go for a 10 Minute Walk Every Day
Start with this. You can always increase later after it becomes routine. It's enough to gently boost your metabolism and keep you active.
Eat Often but Only in Small Portions

My wife told me she would starve myself for a couple of days whenever she wanted to lose weight. It seemed logical to me at the time. Later a cardiac rehabilitation trainer said I had to modify many of my bad eating habits. I had to start eating 6 meals a day. Don't panic, it's easier than it sounds. Every 3-4 hours from the time you wake up eat a little something. Your digestive system is far more efficient at handling a series of small meals than it is at tackling one large meal.

I usually eat at 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm.

Your meal portions (meat, veggies, carbs) should be no larger than the palm of your hand and no thicker than the palm of your hand.

Eat Healthy

I could spend days offering suggestions on meal variations but there are many excellent books that have been written to give you ideas.

So to make it simple. A typical meal should be a protein, a carbohydrate and a vegetable or fruit.

Here is a sample daily meal plan that I used to get you started:

Meal One
Protein shake with 1% milk (I like whey protein drinks such as VasoPro)
Meal Two
½ an apple and cottage cheese or yogurt.
Meal Three
Piece of chicken (no skin) and a small salad.
Meal Four
Cheese and the balance of the apple.
Meal Five
Piece of lean meat, rice or potatoes, vegetables.
Meal Six
Low fat chocolate pudding mixed with protein powder

The Best Part--Reward Yourself!

Choose one day a week as your reward day and eat whatever you want and as much as you want. Whether you like pasta, cookies, ice cream or my personal favorite chocolate. Enjoy!

Don't worry, you won't gain fat if you do this because for the past six days your body has been used to eating what I term clean' food. On the seventh day your body thinks you are going to do the same and when you don't it gets fooled and eliminates the effects of the “junk” food. In essence you are tricking your body that day but you must eat cleanly on the following day.

I have told many others about this method of eating and almost all of them have emailed me back to let me know how thrilled they were at reaching their target goal of weight loss. I hope it works for you too.

These simple techniques will not only help you quickly, safely and effectively lose at least one dress size but they will also help you feel more energetic, vibrant and healthy. Not to mention the positive effect it will have on your skin texture and overall appearance.

Stay on track and you'll be amazed at your results. Eat well, drink plenty of water and, as you progress, simply imagine your groom seeing you for the first time in your wedding gown and watching his jaw drop in speechless silence.
