A Best Source Of Acai

The Acai Berry's popularity as an antioxidant is enhanced by its reputation for helping with weight loss. This is because of its high fiber, antioxidants, omega-9 fatty acids, and amino acids. The combination of these nutrients speeds up metabolism and increases your energy.

The fiber in the Acai Berry antioxidant formula helps transport fat from the body. Also, the high content of fiber helps keep the colon cleansed, allowing fat to be burned more efficiently.

In addition to helping burn fat, the fiber in the Acai Berry antioxidant formula will increase overall health.

In the Acai Berry antioxidant formula, the fatty acids and amino acids also promote weight loss. Fatty acids help regulate the metabolism causing fat to burn. Amino acids help the body build muscle, which in turn causes fat cells to be consumed. The combination of fatty acids and amino acids act as weight loss catalysts.

With so many choices and variations of the Acai Berry supplement, it can get confusing about which one to try. Freeze-dried Acai Berry H2O has the highest concentration of nutrients. This is due to the preservation of all the health nutrients during the freeze-drying process.

Flax seed and flax seed oil have been used for years for their health benefits, and recently have become more widely publicized. One question that arises is does it make a difference if you use ground flax seed or flax seed oil?

The answer is: It depends on why you use flax. Both contain essential omega-3 fatty acids which have been proven to lower LDL (also known as bad cholesterol levels.) Flax has also been shown to reduce the risk of strokes and heart attacks. They also improve brain function, ease menopause symptoms, depression and other conditions.

Either flax seed or flax seed oil can be taken, but it is more beneficial to take ground Flax seed over the oil, because it also contains fiber and lignans that provide future health benefits. Dietary fiber kelps improve digestion, and ground flax seed is an excellent source. Not only that but lignans are phytochemicals that may prevent hormone-related cancers by binding estrogen receptors in the body.

Another benefit of using ground flax seed over flax seed oil is the storage. Flax seed oil is best kept in dark-colored packaging in cool places because light and oxygen can break it down. On the other hand, flax seed can be stored for two years or longer if it is out of direct sunlight. Ground flax seed should be stored in a refrigerator or freezer. Some flax seed is referred to as cold milled. This means the seed is ground without heating the mill blades. Cold milling preserves the seed's essential nutrients.

One unique way to store whole flax seed is in a pillow and used as aromatherapy. Make sure the flax seed is free of weeds and other debris and has not come into contact with chemicals.

There are many ways to supplement flax: Flax seed oil is excellent on salads. The ground flax seed works great in meatloaf or when added to baked goods. It also makes a tasty, nutty coating for chicken and fish.

You can use flax as an egg substitute by mixing 3tablespoons of water to 1tablespoon of ground flax. Keep in mind though that it makes the end result chewier than the traditional recipe.) Another baking tip is to substitute 3 tablespoons of ground flax seed for each tablespoon of fat or oils, like butter or margarine. (Note: It may brown more quickly than with butter though.)

After all is said and done flax oil provides excellent health benefits, but ground flax seed may get the edge in the daily diet. On a quality control note look for organic flax seed. The organic flax is grown and processed without irradiation, pesticides or other additives. It also permits you to get all the health benefits flax has to offer.

Skipping Breakfast A Mistake You Don’t Want To Make

It has been known for a long time that the most important meal of the day is breakfast, but it's the most skipped meal of the day. All you hear is I'm too busy or I'm so late. Did you know that whenever you skip breakfast, you are telling your body "I want to get fat" it's as simple as that. Eating breakfast is everybody's nutritional priority.

Many studies have concluded that breakfast eaters are less likely to be overweight, and eating a healthy breakfast rather than pastry, is the key.
So if you have a high fiber cereal for your morning meal rather than a ham and three cheese omelet or even skipping the meal altogether you are off to a better day already. So if you are running late at least have fruits like apples, bananas and grapes.

Another thing to keep in mind is that low calorie breakfast foods seem to lead to better food choices for the rest of the day. This in may help people to control their weight better.

Many people tend to think they are saving time by skipping breakfast. Some think avoiding breakfast would be a good way to reduce calories because they are usually not hungry in the morning but this sets a very bad precedence for your day with negative consequences for your metabolism.

Breakfast got it’s name because it breaks the fast that you went through while you slept. If you skip the first meal of the day, your body gets the message that you are still fasting which slows down your metabolic rate and this is the beginning of a metabolic downward spiral.

Without breakfast, you will start your days activity with very low blood sugar meaning you will be lethargic, have less energy, and will be very hungry. This leads to overeating at the next meal or reaching for an unhealthy mid morning snack, like a candy bar, in order to get extra energy. The other effect is it also makes you eat more during lunch or dinner.

Replace the junk food with natural foods such as fruits are some of the best foods you can have for breakfast. I also try to choose foods that have some protein, good carbohydrates and healthy fats for my first meal of the day.

I have tried Lean Body Instant Breakfast Shakes They are quick, convenient whole-food breakfast solutions when I was in a hurry. They had enough whole food nutrition to keep me going and tasted pretty good also. I also grab a banana or an apple and that beats skipping breakfast.
