Quality Control and NOW

In June of 2007, the FDA issued Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) for Dietary Supplements by publishing them in the Code of Federal Regulations – 21 CFR Part 111.The cGMP Code describes how manufacturers must comply with cGMPs.

As soon as they were published, NOW foods up a team of individuals from different departments to compare the new FDA cGMP with their current procedures to see where additional work might be needed. After reviewing their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to verify any changes that were needed to meet the new FDA standard.

They revised and updated some processes and then had an external auditor review their work and provide an objective opinionBecause NOW Foods goes to such great lengths to become fully compliant with the new cGMPs is why I trust their products.

I take NOW Omega-3 1000mg Fish Oil and have never worried about the quality of their products.I get them online so the cost is less than in a store.
